Teletherapy (also known as telepractice, telehealth or telemedicine) is a completely virtual mode of receiving your speech, voice or swallowing services. The American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA), endorses the teletherapy service delivery model for many people.

Who is appropriate for teletherapy services?
Teletherapy is actually appropriate for many people. Some clients may require a facilitator during appointments such as a family member, friend or care partner to assist during the session.

Are online sessions secure?
Yes! Lake City Speech & Voice Therapy use only secure, HIPAA compliant, virtual platforms for teletherapy services.
Are there other options for therapy if I do not want to be seen via teletherapy?
